Autumn. iPhone. GiffGaff.

Last September weekend, was all about new iPhone 6S & 6S Plus. As an owner of a slow, dying iPhone 4 I was counting days… Imagine how excited I was that friend booked it for me, so I was holding this Space Gray beauty in my hands just after lunch time! In my fave comfy outfit I rushed to spend £700 on this little irreplaceable device. Also decided to change my network operator from O2 to GiffGaff. Here is my little review (all photos taken with iPhone 6S) & some useful tips.

SNOG

First stop – a delicious Snog frozen yogurt! What a refreshing delight. Low on calories too :) It’s definitely not an ordinary yogurt! Yummm

Reebok & Melody Ehsani

My best buy from New York this year – These Reebok trainers are unbelievable original, functional & comfy too. Made of premium Italian leather, Eye Lace Locks are removable and can be used a jewellery, all shoes come standard with 3 different lace colour options: blue, black and python print. Reebok Classic has once again collaborated with L.A. based designer Melody Ehsani, using python leather on the classic Ventilator trainers for women. The shoes are available exclusively at her L.A. store and select retailers worldwide since spring 2015. It was a limited edition so they were sold out very fast. You can still get something really similar together with matching Eye in Eye Stud Earrings directly from Melody Ehsani’s website from USA.

The only creature, at the Covent Garden Apple store, that wasn’t keen on the new iPhone what so ever :D Several hundred people queued outside Apple’s Covent Garden store on the day of realise on last Friday, much less than a year before – well I’m not surprised – the years of Glory when Apple was unique leader in smart-phone industry are far gone & the differences between new and old models are not that dramatic any-more.

Iphone 6S

My old iPhone 4 was so slow & low on memory I was basically falling asleep while any app lunched. So it’s fair to say – new iPhone 6S (128MB) is an amazing improvement. Battery life (but it’s still something that can be improved more), back & front camera, internet connection, bigger display (although I’m not keen on smart-phones getting bigger and bigger!), capacity 128MB – all these allows me to use my phone with smile :). Lets have a look on what’s special:

  • Cameras
The 12-megapixel iSight & 5-megapixel FaceTime HD camera. Slow-motion videos thanks to the 4K video quality. Live Photos definitely are one of my fave features, brings your memories to live & doesn’t take much space either (see above with me enjoying the SNOG). They play automatically, I only converted to the video for this post.
  • 3D Touch
The original iPhone introduced the world to Multi-Touch. With 3D Touch, you can do things that were never possible before. It senses how deeply you press the display, letting you do all kinds of essential things more quickly and simply.
  • Technology
The most advanced chip ever in iPhone. iPhone 6s is powered by the custom-designed 64-bit A9 chip. It delivers performance once found only in desktop computers.
  • Display
iPhone 6s 4.7″ Retina HD display with 3D Touch / iPhone 6s Plus 5.5″ Retina HD display with 3D Touch
  • Touch ID Advanced security.
Using a highly advanced fingerprint sensor. Touch ID makes unlocking your phone easy and secure. And it lets you use Apple Pay at hundreds of thousands of shops and within participating apps. Love this feature as it makes your apps accessible in seconds.
  • Wireless
    Faster 4G LTE & Wi‑Fi

Although I was about to get a Rose Gold, I was disappointed that colours were too soft / washed out, so I went after a Space Grey. Black front feels more natural, as I like to review images on a dark background (I guess an old habit from the Photoshop). The most valuable iPhone feature is defiantly an intuitive simplicity of UI & OS. No need to read the manual & overload your brain :) Haha that reminds me of a shortcut, you’ll never hear Apple say – RTFM Read The Fucking Manual! :D

The shape & material made this toy much more slippery than old models were, so a good case seems like a necessity from the day one. Overall I’m excited & satisfied with my new baby, look forward to take thousands of photos and be able to write more posts from anywhere I may be! If you struggle with the performance of your old phone – the new iPhone 6s is just the thing for you!

GiffGaff

Decided to try a new mobile network provider, moved from O2 to the Giffgaff. It is a mobile telephone network running as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator using the United Kingdom O2 network. Owned by O2’s owners Telefónica, Giffgaff was launched on 25 November 2009… hah incredible that I heard of them for the first time just a few weeks ago. If you wish to keep your old number, here is how:

  • Sign-up & Order a Free SIM online, arrives in only 2days.
  • Activate your new SIM
  • Request PAC from your current network provider (This must be used within the next 14 days)
  • Request the transfer. If you request to transfer your number before 3pm, your number may be transferred on the next day.

DONE easy like that! They offer quite different packages – Im mostly after internet Data, barely ever call or send traditional texts these days. 1GB for £10 a month – sounds like a good deal to me. As a traveller, blogger & Instagram lover I will put them up to the test! :)
Come join giffgaff, the mobile network run by you! Click here and get SIM with £5 free credit

Southbank

One of my fave London places – with lots of bars, exhibitions, events, markets & biggest 3D cinema (my absolute fave – BFI, explosion of sound & picture, that will tease your senses). South side of the river is offering a good time any time of the year. Pulsing social life will make you stay, spend & enjoy your self!

Now I’m ready to enjoy surprisingly lovely & sunny London autumn with my new gadget baby & GiffGaff. Hope you enjoyed this post – Autumn. iPhone. GiffGaff. Thanks for your time & hope to see you soon! Xxxx
