Logos and Company design

An integrated corporate identity, which includes a logo, business cards, letterhead, signs, flyers, website, emails, presentations, is not only a customer’s first impression of your company, but the thread that ties all your consumer-facing interactions together and communicates to your market who you are and what you stand for. The first step to creating an effective, memorable CI is to clearly and concisely verbalizing the company’s goals, values, and target market.

When creating a logo and brand style, including aspects like fonts and colours, we should consider 2 things:

1. Your portfolio – all materials that your business may need, including business cards, signage, etc…
2. Your budget – how much you’re able to invest.

If this seems like a daunting task, don’t worry I’m here to help make this job as straightforward as possible so you can focus on your customers. I’ll provide you with templates of all necessary files that you’ll be able to edit yourself and reuse as many times as you like.

The projects I enjoy most are those that we start from scratch. I find it to be most productive when I can engage in a dialogue with the client and help them communicate their brand to their customer all the way from logo creation to website design.

I design according to the three C’s: creativity, consistency, and compliance. An effective corporate identity should be novel and eye-catching. A great logo should stay in a customer’s mind and connect directly with the values of the brand. It’s essential that all company communications utilize the same colors and design to maintain consistency across the brand. Brand policing is part of my job, too. Most importantly, I believe that designing according to a client’s wishes are paramount.
