Challenges

Coordinating work between different teams & countries. Managing budget & design expectation of 5 marketing departments across Europe.

Brief
The brief asked us to redesign Lenovo Promo portal and improve Lenovo’s promoters engagement with it. As promoters have a big impact on a costumer experience with the brand. The main goals were to incorporate features such as tests, track visits, reward system, create a community and brand awareness for promoters across Europe. Using existing Lenovo brand guidelines and style.

Results & Achievements

We developed a tool which allowed users to register, view their account breakdown, their work summary, to learn and prove their skills. In addition to that we created an educational activities for each quarter with a reward system, in order to educate promoters and manage their bonuses fairly. The new feature allows promoters to leave feedback and to share experience with junior promoters. As a result, not only promoter’s engagement and web visits increased (from 10 to 80%) but the customer experience was enhanced.

Project description

Basic overview
Promo Project is a learning motivational portal for Lenovo promoters in PL, CZ, TR and SEE region. It is a next stage of the Lenovo Promoter Tool.
Promo Project now brings not only advanced set of tools for tracking and rewarding individual promoters across region, but also set of training, tests and competitions to insure education and developed for new and existing promoters and bringing them closer to the brand.

Lenovo Promoter Tool is a reporting tool that is being used in PL, CZ, TR and SEE region countries where Lenovo offers its products. It is a tool where Lenovo promoters can register into the system and afterwards it tracks work history of promoters all over the countries and offers the option to see the performance of individual promoters across the countries, based on the ranking and worked hours for a given period of time with the alongside spread of newsletters and motivations (Best Promoter, Monthly and Quarterly competitions etc).

New development phases focus on developing new features for the Lenovo Promoter tool, to enhance its functionalities and bring educative options for the Promoters, to motivate them more and supply with everything needed to achieve high sales. This stage of development will make tool more interactive and also provide information about Lenovo products, as well as sales skills and overall company information needed to be known by any Lenovo representative. Outcome of development phases will be strong platform – main knowledge and help motivational base for Promoter teams.

The main aim of Promo Portal

Main aim of the Promo Project portal is a growth of Lenovo’s promoters’ engagement with the Brand and improvement of their knowledge base (products portfolio, sales techniques, etc.). To move from database with statistics to interactive place for promoters, that inspires to explore, learn and share their Lenovo experience. Connect promoters with the brand and expand brand awareness.

Reason
At the moment promoters are mostly hired by external agencies and most of them are students or after graduates. We want to show them an exciting world of Lenovo family. To encourage / inspire promoters to develop their skills, build their reputation and career with us.

Purpose / Goal
Our mission is to accelerate the execution of Lenovo’s sales and customer service strategy. Create community of experts and motivate them to be active, learn and improve their overall performance.

Motivation for promoters
Motivation for promoters should be promotions based on their overall activity, gained Diplomas and prizes such as Lenovo products or branded materials.
