Hilton & Desigual

A little city break was well needed after a busy summer. Hearing a lot about Somerset lately, decided to hit in that direction. A spa-break sounded like a great idea, so I picked this amazing place with Spa & Gym facilities just across the road, a DoubleTree by Hilton – Bristol (Cadbury House). Mother nature gifted us with a rather pleasant weather, I enjoyed every second of this quiet green heaven.

My first time in a Hilton, UK was a great experience. This hotel has an amazing positive energy & character. The staff was exceptionally helpful and genuinely nice. Hotel is located conveniently for people flying too/from Bristol airport. I would recommend to the couples & families. Hilton & Desigual are an amazing couple – patterns on walls & furniture adds nice posh touch to interior and clothes. Definitely 5 stars for these brands! Check out a small review of the hotel and my sexy & comfy Desigual outfit for any occasion.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bristol – Cadbury House

DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House, is one of North Somerset’s most prestigious 4 star contemporary boutique hotels. Offering the most convenient & comfortable hotel accommodation in the South West, as they say on their website – you can book your room here too btw. Cadbury House has a fascinating history that brings much life and character to the venue. To find out more about hotel history – click here.

This hotel is a part of the Hilton family so you can expect quality & high standard services. Great place for quite weekend, weddings, company venues & spa-breaks.

Amazingly cute tree alley is a great entrance into the world of relaxation. What a view! History lies in those walls. Plenty of parking space. Friendly welcoming staff. Fresh home-made cookie as a welcome gift. The room was ready even we came by early. Interesting design pieces of furniture in rooms, restaurant & other hotel areas. Room was clean & nicely designed but a bit small window facing back of the hotel – which was great as the aim was to relax. My guess this can be arranged while booking – to insure getting room on the front side of the hotel. Overall, a great place to stay, I felt like royalty in my own castle :)

Breakfast all you can it buffet for a £10/per person was the best start of the day and something to look forward too :), the restaurant in the Club house offers generously big and tasty meals, you wont be disappointed.

I had a very enjoyable weekend at this hotel, the spa & gym area are very clean and well-appointed, I would be very happy to return. Close by Indian restaurant & take away and Co-operative supermarket, offers all you really need.

Spa & Club

The leisure facilities at DoubleTree were a pleasant surprise. Operated by – The Club & Spa Bristol.
Spa:
Definitely book your appointment beforehand – Treatments, Spa days, Spa breaks – all to pamper yourself. I booked mani & pedi and full body massage. Massage was amazingly relaxing, great therapist & music. I strongly encourage you to do you work-out first, as the massage will leave you calm, stress-free & relax your muscles.

The Spa offers Jessica GELeration range, but it was unpleasant surprise, they couldn’t remove my old OPI gel on my hands, so I had only pedicure. Shame! The pedicure – that was a story itself – the room was quite stuffy & pedi was dreadful! Regular nail polish was applied layer on layer way too fast (no finger dividers were used). I was forced to wear flip-flops about 20 seconds after last layer was applied and still wet! After cream and oils absorbed I realize – I need pedicure! Old skin wasn’t removed & polish wasn’t applied well. Very bad result for a £45! Thankfully I got my money back!

Gym:
After seeing changing room in the Health club, London’s changing rooms are a bad joke :) Steam room & sauna available for both shy & sociable gals. Experience a best views from the gym on the top floor. Swimming pool & Jacuzzi offers a great relaxation & massage after your work-out. You can watch a sunset, while lying in the pool through the huge windows facing West, is that posh or what? Simply incredible experience, that makes you smile & happy :)

The most colorful & unique brand I have ever seen! Fashion brand from Spain took the world by storm. Whenever Im visiting Slovakia, France, UK or USA I never miss my chance to visit their unique stores full of colours, patterns and inspiration. Always friendly staff are very helpful & makes you forget about the prices (its not a cheapest brand). There is something very special about their stores – but they are most of the time quite empty – lover prices would not hurt :), but again we are talking about Desigual! You are worth it! Desigual offers a wide collection of Woman, Man & Kids clothes, shoes, accessories & perfumes. They recently lunched a new website check it out now – Desigual.com – looks more like a blog than a typical online store right? Great deals & sale outs make this brand more affordable :)

Thank you Cadbury House for a great relaxing time! Well deserved break & catch up on sleep deficiency. And thank you dear readers for your time Xxx.
