Larimar bracelet ultimate test

Hi guys, on my travels in Thailand I was testing my beautiful bracelet from Larimar shop. I call it – Larimar bracelet ultimate test.

Larimar bracelet with petite round stones

Larimar stone

Larimar, also called “Stefilia’s Stone”, is a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. Its coloration varies from white, light-blue, green-blue to deep blue. Read more on Wiki.

And what about the name of the stone? Natives, who believed the stone came from the sea, called the gem Blue Stone. In 1974 Miguel Méndez rediscovered Larimar. Miguel took his young daughter’s name Larissa (another coincidence my Christian name is Larrisa :)) & the Spanish word for sea (mar) & that’s how Larimar was formed.

Healing powers

I also learned that Larimar stone has healing powers. The stone is an active throat chakra crystal, that has a vibration that assists clear communication. Oh that’s a coincidence, it’s just what I need :)
